Poison mail ``
-->> ..exhaustion, work exasperation. So fried of the political season and the continuous pieces of junk-literature:: "Vote for this Person" .. "Vote against That person" and "Yay and Nay For these amendments..but not this, that, the other and # 1 , 2, & 3 ".
Colorado is a swing state, i guess i should have anticipated this. But all the junk-mail just ends up in the recycle bin, i don't look at it.
Disillusionment makes one numb, numbness makes me panic, after the panic i just grow angrier, after the anger i just don't care.
Then then i get something not so easy to recycle.
Maybe i heard about this and forgot about, whatever the case when this arrived in my box in the mail, it didn't sit right with me.
So .. time to do a little digging on my rusty ol' junk-yard dial-up.
Let's crank up the beast and find out what this is about.
* FOX NEWS ..there's a red flag.. hmm..
Ya know how can anyone keep up with any and all of the isues over the past 8 years. So much toxic rehtoric, confusing and violent news bites. I'm bombarded by it every day. A schizophrenics' mind perhaps can exist on so many levels. Perhaps. But even i can only wrap my mind around so much.
Whatever .. Fox News is well known for its' racist diatribe in many of it's reports over the years. I mean come on, putting that on their package there signals something a bit disturbing to me.
and W . T . F. is the ' Liberty Film Fest ' ..ect. ?! Sounds like a set-up pro- RIGHT and unbalanced.
* - * "The Liberty Film Festival was a film festival held in California. It was founded in 2004
It screened self described Conservative films. .."
..Christ .. damm do i even have to look up the other film festivals listed on the package ?? Guess i should, but i'm so f7ckin' worn right now, so i won't.
Damm, they doctor up the design of the package with those feathery brackets to make it look like it won an award at Cannes or something.

** '24'
Reasons i don't watch allot of T.V. ( i mean i use it allot for watching movies or games, and when i'm watching TMNT ..):: commitment to shows that you seem to have to watch from the very beginning to get into & a general lack of anything that captures me. The times i've seen 24 it's just seemed more boring than anything i could get into. Maybe it's good maybe it's bad. However i am aware of it's continual controversy. I'm also aware that many on the EXTREME RIGHT are big fans of this show. Also i am aware of it's controversy dealing with regards to racism, violence, and torcher. Don't look at me i am an ' EXTREME NOTHING ' and am not affiliated with any party. Still the show is known too for the ' RED FLAGS ' it brings up. I'm sure the hype helps the show to gain a healthy fan base for it and pump up it's ratings. That's how the media machine works and any good critique the show will get will help. Any negative critique will help draw attention to the show even more. So .. again. A flag is up there waving around in my little cranky cranuium.

*** The Clarion Fund
Ok, well here's were it get's a bit interesting, tho' tiring.
And cuz i am a bit tired i start by looking on the ..
Damm ol' WIKI"::
"In September 2008, the group gained attention by distributing, with the aid of the Endowment for Middle East Truth , free copies of the film ** ** Obsession: Radical Islam’s War Against the West, produced and co-written by Shore, by mail and in newspaper supplements. The Fund has reportedly sent 28 million DVDs to at least 70 newspapers in swing states to place at the doorstep of newspaper subscribers.
"Critics have accused the Clarion Fund, through its distribution of the Obsession film, of misleadingly portraying Islam as a threatening religion bent on the destruction of Western civilization, and of interspersing untruthful incendiary commentary with images of Nazis and suicide bombing indoctrination. .. Others have called the film "award winning" and "required viewing".
After a quote from Edmund Burke, the movie starts with a disclaimer that reads: "This is a film about radical Islamic terror. A dangerous ideology, fueled by religious hatred. It's important to remember most Muslims are peaceful and do not support terror. This is not a film about them. This is a film about a radical worldview, and the threat it poses to us all, Muslim and non-Muslim alike."
In September 2008, the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) asked the Federal Election Commission to investigate the Clarion Fund's DVD distribution claiming that it was an attempt to influence the 2008 US presidential election. As evidence of inappropriate political bias on the part of The Clarion Fund, AP cited Patriot News of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania reporting "that a Clarion Fund Web site ran a ~* pro-McCain article before it attracted notice and was taken down."

~* McCain connection ?!
* Democracy Now ::
Headlines - - Muslim Group Calls for FEC Probe on DVD Distribution
"A leading American Muslim group is calling for a Federal Elections Commission probe into a controversial DVD they say denigrates Islam. The video is called “Obsession: Radical Islam’s War Against the West.” It’s been distributed to some 28 million homes, mostly in battleground election states. The Council for American-Islamic Relations wants the FEC to probe whether the DVD’s distributor, the Clarion Fund, is really a front for a right-wing group based in Israel seeking to back Republican candidate John McCain."

**Saul Relative of AC : Clarion Fund: Pro-McCain Non-profit Group Fueling Politics of Fear
Anti-Islam Documentary Being Distributed on September 11 Anniversary
"The Clarion Fund is a 501 c(3) non-profit organization that apparently supports Senator John McCain for president. Why "apparently"? The Clarion Fund is responsible for paying newspapers around the United States to distribute an anti-Islam documentary as a supplement to their Sunday editions. The Huffington Post reports that the Clarion Fund has sent 28 million DVDs to at least 70 newspapers in swing states to place at the doorstep of newspaper subscribers. The Huffington Post also calls the Clarion Fund "shadowy," because the non-profit organization's financial backers are unknown.
The DVD is a 60-minute expose of militant Islam called "Obsession: Radical Islam's War Against the West" and is ideologically slanted toward painting Muslims as evil and bent on the destruction of the United States. It was nationally premiered on Fox News during the 2006 mid-term elections. Labeled highly divisive by many mainstream religious groups, "Obsession" shows Islam as a radically dangerous religion bent on the destruction of Western civilization, interspersing incendiary commentary with images of Nazis and suicide bombing indoctrination.
You might not agree with Senator Barack Obama's political ideology, but a point he has brought up in the past several weeks is not only relevant to this issue but a blatant truth as well. At several speeches Senator Obama has made mention of the Republican propensity to play distraction games during the campaigns and elections. Obama speaks directly to the GOP tactic of fearmongering, or the politics of fear.
It seems that Republicans have a lock on national security. Why is that? According to Norman Solomon, author of War Made Easy: How Presidents and Pundits Keep Spinning Us To Death, Democratic presidents have been just as likely to go to war or promote a military conflict as Republican presidents. So why are the Republicans seen as more hawkish? "

Junk Mail- -
I don't have the energy for this sh8t, and i don't want to watch this hateful Video.
It's pretty obvious the Clarion Fund is tied and seemingly committed to dividing people even more and spreading propaganda to feed into people's prejudices. This increases hatred, and increase fear.
South of Denver ..it's pretty thick to see in the aire why this place was deemed ' RED ' in 2004 in many,MANY parts of this community. Heavy military populace :: bases, families, deployment and recruitment. It's been the case here for decades. So many Conservative and Extremes to the Overt- Religious Christians ( 'so - called ' Christians ) have built here within' my lifetime and prey on those that follow their ideology of what ' GOD IS ' and evil. Obviously this confusingly divisive tool, this DVD would/ could / is (??) or potentially be a big hit here.
Fuck it. It's just a waste of resources and again adds fuel for the fire of the elite Right here that encourage so much more division and hatred ( and violence in some cases ) against those who disagree with their view points.
Sending this piece of shit back to it's source.
I wish these bastards and people like them would just leave me the fuck alone, and quit spewing out such hatred and poison.
Is this the type of crap i have to fight the rest of my days ??
Maybe .. i dunno.
Sending this shit back to it's source at the Clarion Fund.
God how the fuck do i end up on all these different political junk mail lists anyway ??
Dammit !!
..guess i should write them and tell them to take me off their list as well.
Racist Mother fuckers.
Is this how fucking moronic people really think i am ?!
Guess so ..either that or my name is just another of 1000s on some idiot computer someplace, with a so called ' NON - PROFIT ' organization printing out labels for this 'Clarion Fund' to waste peoples' time and to help spread hate in an already fragile climate of anxiety.
Mother fuck ..

Yeah, it's racist propaganda, but the thing to note is how well organized the neo-cons really are. Look at this DVD distribution in the light of Palin's recent attacks on Obama claiming he must be a terrorist cuz he knew one. Or even scarier, some of the hate-frenzy she manages to whip those brainless drones into. Someone shouted "Nigger!" and "Kill him!" at one of her rallies, and she does nothing to discourage this.
And at the polar opposite end of that hate mongering, did you see Michelle Obama on Larry King last night? (I've got one part up on my blog)
The contrast between the two woman is amazing.
-->> .. o m y god, Donna.
Ok i'll take a look.
